The Ramsey House

On a recent scenic drive with my father, we spotted an historical marker leading to this site. Built in 1797, The Ramsey House was known as the “finest house in Tennessee”, hosting important diplomats and guests during an era when grand accommodations were sparse. Several locally influential figures sprung from this family, as observed on the web link provided (above). Thanks for stopping by!
