Poem in Response

Having read “Park Pirate“, written by a dear friend, the talented and beautiful Arizonian Poetess, Michele Lee – wherein she ponders being a perfect pirate companion – I was inspired to write this poem in response…

If ever you should wish to sail
– as pirates over open seas
I’d gladly share a ship for two
By starlit skies, on evening breeze
