Poem for a Friend

While conversing with my dear friend, Annabel – a lovely woman, talented Poetess, professional Dancer & Choreographer – she spoke of her fondness for roses, and I wrote her this poem…

Bright eyes to surmise one thousand words
In the presence of a rose
Of soft petals
And lush color
Gardens spring through dreams where beauty flows
