This vintage photograph was taken from Presque Isle in the city of Marquette, Michigan, located in the Upper Peninsula. As is common on Lake Superior, strong storms with forceful waves often place large rocks and boulders upon the shoreline. Also, the furthest island pictured in the distance – barely visible – is known as Little Presque Isle.
You can purchase prints, gifts & apparel items of my vintage landscape photography when you visit my gallery.
Hope to see you soon!
