  This photograph was taken while hiking through Ijams Nature Center, in Knoxville, Tennessee, at an area known as Meads Quarry. Across the river, it’s not far from downtown and provides visitors with several trails, a small lake, abandoned rail line and, as pictured here, many mining remnants.
