Ocoee Dam Completed in late December 1911, the Ocoee Dam #1 is located in Polk County in southern Tennessee. It stands 135-feet tall and was the first plant to supply hydroelectric power to Chattanooga. It also forms Parksville Lake, a popular beach and boating area with 109 miles of shoreline.
