This digital watercolor is based on a photograph from a place referred to as “the cove”, located on Presque Isle in Michigan’s upper peninsula at Marquette. After climbing up a small cliff along the right side, I explored for a while until encountering there rock peninsulas jutting out into Lake Superior.
