This small waterfall was photographed in the Tremont section of the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, along the Middle Prong Trail. See my gallery for more.

    Such a wonder, unique photo. Usually waterfall shots, I find, tend toward the bigger and grander view, which keeps the viewer “at a distance.” However, this study draws the viewer into the intimacy of running water in a fascinating and rewarding way. Marvelous!

      Thanks, Tim – glad you like it! I’ve really enjoyed hiking various regional waterfalls this year, and find that, yes, sometimes lessor examples do indeed provide greater interest & beauty.
