Norris Dam

Located along the Clinch River in Tennessee, the 265-foot tall Norris Dam was built in 1936. Shown here, I leaned over the edge looking down to photograph the spillway. Prints available for the home, office, business lobby, cafeteria…

  3. Wow, cool shot, Phil, but that made me a little dizzy looking downward at the dam, my fear of heights kicking in! πŸ˜‰

    1. Sorry about that, my friend πŸ€— Glad the like the shot, Tiffany ~ have a wonderful Wednesday πŸ‘

  4. Woooohooooooo!!! This is fabulous!!! Love that view!!! Amazing place, it looks like. Many things built in (and after!) 1936 are long gone. And most of them didn’t have millions of gallons of water to deal with 24/7. What an engineering and construction masterpiece it must be! Thank you for sharing these stunning images! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

    1. Thanks very much, my friend ~ I’m so glad you enjoy my pictures. At 265-feet tall, it’s a good sized dam which has stood the test of time. πŸ‘
