Tellico River

Prints available. While driving along River Road, which follows the contours of the Tellico River, I noticed an area over the guard rail and down an embankment which appeared as a vantage point from which to photograph the river. Following my chaotic descent – really, a controlled slide down a steep 25-foot hillside with shallow, damp topsoil – this is what I photographed. Thanks for stopping by!

Haha, a “controlled slide” I can picture that! Be careful out there!😂🤣

😂🤣 Thanks for acknowledging my attempt at humor – I was sure someone else would also find that amusing. 🤗 The uphill was worse, though…no effective way to brace with trekking-poles, and the footholds would only last for 2-3 seconds before giving way.
