Return to Second Falls

I recently had an opportunity to enjoy a hike at the Graveyard Fields Trail, located along the Blue Ridge Parkway in North Carolina.

The trail is at an elevation of 5120-feet above sea level and I enjoyed a nice view of the sunrise. A vantage point along the road also offered a distant view of Second Falls, one of two waterfalls I visited. Lastly, I was pleased with the autumnal colors shown across mountain foliage.

These photographs have been made available on prints in my gallery:

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Like the smile of a beautiful woman 😉, nature, too, can take ones breath away. With so many scenic overlooks along the Blue Ridge Parkway, getting from ‘point A’ to ‘point B’ seems to be more about the journey than the destination. Thank you for stopping by, dear Michele ~ your visits are an inspiration to my poetic propensities.
