Lower Greeter Falls

Located in the Savage Gulf State Natural Area of the South Cumberland State Park, in Tennessee, Lower Greeter Falls stands 50-feet tall and is a popular hiking destination. A variety of prints are available in my gallery at Pixels, and other fine items can also be found in my shop at Redbubble. It would make a great gift-giving idea, too!

Access to the falls requires descending a 24-step spiral metal staircase, and hikers should remain weary of slick surfaces around the plunge pool. With other falls in the area, also, it’s a great site to visit!

    1. Hi Cindy ~ yes, I think that many people do have such concerns. Several areas of the trail leading to the stairs are narrow and without any railings. As such, I’m always taken back to see people’s dogs running in such spaces. Wishing you a wonderful Thursday, my dear. 🤗🌹

      1. I’m not alone. That’s terrifying but i guess the dogs instincts are so keen. I on the other hand would be frozen … Thanks for the share. Thank you so much and happy Thursday to you as well my friend.💖
