This is Eagle Falls. Like other waterfalls, it erodes solid rock behind, under and ahead of its flow. You can often walk behind falls, wade or swim in deep plunge pools below falls, or crudely anticipate direction of future flows. And, of course, you may simply sit to rest and enjoy the beauty of waterfalls – in person, or at home. Oh, how beautiful….the gleaming spray, so elegant (like ribbons) against the rocks, which are slightly jagged yet still somewhat smooth. A truly beautiful contrast, Phil! 💖💞💕

It’s one of my favorite places to hike, and, by its beauty, to also rest and enjoy the sights and sounds. Glad you like it, Kara ~ have a pleasant evening 🤗🌹
