I originally wrote this poem on December 22, 2020, in response to reading βMake a Wish to a Star and It Will Come Trueβ, by Carla Milho, a very lovely lady and talented writer from Lisbon, Portugal. I then posted it on my site a few days later, as part of a compilation. And, now…freestanding.
β A light to the east, After dark In the sky. π A dove is released, And my wish Came to fly. π Bound for the heavens, With trust In a prayer. β€οΈ The woman I love, With hope We will share.
