This black and white morning photograph was taken along the (new) Foothills Parkway, highlighting a stormy sky over the Smoky Mountains, with fog below in the town of Wears Valley, Tennessee. A variety of prints are available in my gallery. Thanks for stopping by!

I’m just sitting here staring, Phil, … I find it a very emotive photograph, mainly I suppose cause it is black-and-white, and you focus more on the whole scene in front of you, … I think it’s the fog, the weight of it, almost hugging the ground, and the clouds are gathered, so darkly threatening, moody, … all adding to an overall feeling of waiting, … expectation I think… lots of love to you, always…❤️❤️❤️
