This elevated view of Lake Superior was photographed many years ago from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, located in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, north of Marquette. In the distance is Little Presque Isle, which, if the water isn’t too cold, can easily be visited by wading from shore.
