Indian Flats Falls

Located in the Tremont section of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, Indian Flats Falls is a series of four waterfalls with a total height of 60-feet. It’s an 8.2 mile out and back hike on a mountain trail, and this is the upper tier, as photographed one foggy autumn morning following a storm of heavy rain and high winds.

Thanks so much, dear Irene! Overnight winds dropped a golden blanket of leaves on to the water on the morning of my visit. Glad you like it ~ have a great day! πŸ€—

TY dear Robin ~ yes, the golden leaves worked well with this shot. It’s a beautiful waterfall to visit, though sometimes difficult to gauge the water level present. Glad you like it, my friend! πŸ€—πŸŒΉ
