Having read “Commune“, written by a very talented and beautiful Poetess, my dear friend, Holly Hunter – in which she discusses the fragility of mankind, plagued by loneliness – I was inspired to write this poem…
Chew slowly at first
Each bite, gaining speed
To starve loneliness
Love hungers in need
I wish you were here
Together with me
As one, sharing bliss
Two hearts to set free
