Poem in Response

Having read “Dietrich in the Moonlight“, written by a very talented and beautiful Poetess from Miami, Florida, my dear friend Holly Hunter – wherein she contemplates lost love – I was inspired to write this poem in response…

On a moonlight drive I rode
Southern Florida – the Sad Cafe
That we may meet to smile together
Light up the night, into day
