Poem for Penny

I wrote this poem last evening for a close friend, Penny Granger. She’s a very talented Poetess, and the apple of my eye…

Warm words, unwritten
Spoken from the heart
Connecting with yours
True love to impart

I wish I could hold your hand
Take you in my arms and dream
Share love under moonlit skies
Drifting stardust on a stream

Close your eyes and I’ll find you
Glowing beauty of a star
Casting rays across the hours
Time together, as we are
