Having read “September Rains“, written by a dear friend – the very talented and beautiful Poetess, Holly Hunter – I was inspired to write this poem in response…
As with birds and bees
Sweet honey in trees
Nature flows through the rain, riding waves
A September song
Notes thirty days long
You’re the poem penned in dreams my heart craves
