After a 30 minute hike in the Piney Falls State Natural Area, located in Grandview, Tennessee, I arrived at the cascades above Lower Piney Falls. It was soon after sunrise with temperatures in the low 40’s, a peaceful time to enjoy the landscape, as I was the only visitor in the park.
