Reflections of Green

Sunlight, green foliage and a dry, slow moving Richland Creek, afforded me an opportunity to capture this photograph, while hiking along the rocky riverbed adjacent to the Laurel-Snow Trail, in Dayton, Tennessee.

Thanks very much, sweet Poetess Kym. It was an unexpected joy to traverse the essentially dry riverbed, and seeing these green reflections in shallow pools of water made my day. I’m so glad you like it, and wish you a splendid evening! βœπŸ½βœ¨πŸ―πŸ’–πŸ’

Absolutely EXQUISITE, Phil! Soooo relaxing and beautiful! Love the rocks, the way the light filters thru the trees, the delicacy of the leaves hanging over those powerful rocks, and the twinkling water! πŸ‘πŸ‘β™₯οΈπŸ‘πŸ‘

Thank you, dear Robin. I didn’t know what to expect when I arrived – given the low water levels – but was pleased with both the scenery and greater access to heretofore unreachable areas. πŸ™‚

I love the perspective on this photo – beautiful!

Thanks very much, beautiful Hannah. It was a wonderful hike, particularly given that I knew going into it – with some apprehension – that the water was low. As it turned out, that fact led to an expanded opportunity to explore the gorge…such as here, where once was water. Wishing you and yours a wonderful weekend, my friend πŸ™‚
