Poem in Response

Having read “Y ahora qué” (Spanish, translated to mean Now What), written by a beautiful woman, talented poetess and dear friend, Diana Lobos, I was inspired to write this poem in response…

Come, within my arms, let me hold you tight
Embrace the night, together stars align
Making time, divine, beating hearts drum sway
Moonlight ushers day, our poetry penned
As love we spend, in rapture, wanting more

“As love we spend, in rapture, wanting more”… talk about sweeping you off of your feet! 👣 I know Diana is honored and I enjoyed that throwback from Chicago! One of my favorites. I get swept away by the horns! 🎷🎶📯🎵🎺 Sweet! 💖

    1. You are most kind, sweet Poetess Kym, and I’ll 2nd you on the horn sounds by Chicago. I thought Earth, Wind & Fire were also excellent, as such. Thanks so much, my dear 🎶🍯💖

      1. You are so very welcome my sweet Phil. 🙏🏽 You are a poetic rock star sugar pie honey bunch! Yep, I agree that EWF threw down with the horns too. But you know, a lot of our 60s and 70s groups whipped those horns (AWB, Confunction, Sly and the Family Stone, the Doobie Brothers, KC and the Sunshine Band, Parliment Funkadelics, etc) and the list goes on… Enjoy the rest of your week my sweet Phil! 😍💖🍯🥂😘 Make it FUNKalicious! 🎶
