If you’re interested in hiking along a river in the forest where you probably won’t see any other people during your visit, I’d recommend that you try Thunderhead Prong Quiet Walkway. Located in the Tremont section of the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, it branches off the popular Middle Prong Trail. As photographed, this is Thunderhead Prong.
