Having read “Fly on Little Wing“, written by a dear friend hailing from the Valley of the Sun, the gorgeous and talented Sonoran Poetess, Michele Lee – wherein she shares poetry of renewal, with photographic silhouettes and music – I was inspired to write this poem in response…
She’s a woman of wings
Like a bird, set for flight
A tumbleweed spirit
Soaring free into night
She’s a catcher of dreams
In a sky full of stars
Strumming song through her pen
With electric guitars
She’s a weaver of words
In warm currents of love
Flowing true from the heart
Silver moon springs, above
Most of all, she’s an exceptional woman of great beauty who I think of when the first star at night appearsโฆ
