Indian Flats Falls

Located in the Tremont section in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, the hike to Indian Flats Falls is 8.2 miles out and back. And, it’s definitely worth a visit, featuring several tiers totaling 60-feet in height.

Yes, it’s my photograph of a series of terraced ledges in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, known as Indian Flats Falls. It’s a 4-mile hike to get there, definitely worth the time and effort, and I’ve only once seen another person at this location – very peaceful. Viewed here, I’ve climbed through underbrush to access the base of the falls.
