Frozen Head

Cryonics is a method of preserving human remains at extremely low temperatures in the hope that future medical advancements will be able to revive and restore them to full health.

The process involves… oh no, wait – my bad.

Rather, this post features a waterfall shot yesterday along Emory Gap Branch, at Frozen Head State Park, located in Wartburg, Tennessee.

I spent the morning off-trail, traversing up and down riverbanks, and, rather than slipping on damp, moss covered rocks, opting instead to walk through the cold water.

    1. Thanks so much, dear Hazel! It was a beautiful location, albeit a somewhat slower, cautious hike along the rocks. I’m glad you like it, my friend! ✨🤗

      1. You’re always welcome, Phil

  2. Your bad Indeedy Phil …😉…. Thankfully it’s not reaching for longevity of life, …it’s beauty in life, ..and it’s a truly gorgeous photo capture, …have yourself a lovely weekend, and no researching cryogenics… 💫🦋💫

    1. Hahaha Yes, it’s a strange name for a park, indeed. So glad you like my photograph, dear Penny, and I wish for you the same my friend! ✨😙

  3. How beautiful 🙂

    1. By example, you define what it means to be beautiful exquisitely, Hannah, and I’m so glad that you like my photography ~ have a wonderful weekend, my dear friend 🙂

  4. Oh, incredible beauty! Dancing water! ❤️
Btw, the cryomaninacs/frozen head opening sounds like it might be the inspiration for a Sasquatch piece. Sasquatch encounters a cult of “cyromaniacs” who are determined to preserve HIM bec they think he has the secret to eternal power in his hairy genes…🙃 Seriously, tho, thank you for sharing this marvelous scene & for walking thru all that cold water to preserve it! 👏👏👏👏👏

    1. Hahahaha That’s not bad! You’ve got a wonderfully creative imagination, dear Robin. If I try to create such an image, I’ll give you a “heads up” 😂
