Roadside Attraction

A waterfall gracefully cascades over wide rocks into a serene pool below, surrounded by lush green foliage. In the misty background, a bridge spans the river, partially obscured by trees.

I took this long exposure photograph of Upper Potter’s Falls, located in Wartburg, Tennessee, yesterday morning. Today, it’s available in my gallery at Phil Perkins Photography, with a wide variety of print options to select.

I hope you’ll come by to see more, thanks!

  6. I’m so jealous Phill, …this gorgeous cascade of water, …those falls are sumptuous,…and as you describe so well … the green of nature, surrounding the mini falls, …almost as a cape, …natures mantle, …💫🤗💕💫

    1. It is a wonderful spot, I think, and I’m so glad you enjoy it, dear Penny! There’s also another waterfall downstream – being posted tomorrow – which I suspect you’ll enjoy, as well. I hope you’re having a great day, my friend, and it’s always nice to see you 💫😉💕🤗💫

    1. OMGoodness, hello dear Inge!!! I’ve since your wonderful photography posted lately, again, and have enjoyed it very much! Het is zo leuk om je te zien en ik hoop dat alles goed gaat in West-Vlaanderen 🙂 Bedankt dat je even langskwam en hallo zei, lieve vriend, en ik stuur je de beste wensen met een warme groet en een kus 😘

        1. Yes, it certainly has changed quite a bit. Lots of new things to learn, some good, and others somewhat frustrating. It’s good to see you, dear Inge!

  8. Great shot, lowering the ISO really makes the water silky looking 🙂

    1. Thanks so much, Susan. It surely does have that look, and I’ll post another waterfall, tomorrow, downstream of this location. Have a nice day, my friend! 🙂

        1. Thank you, dear 🤗

  10. Magnificent! I’m amazed how evenly the water flow is distributed along the whole of that looong edge!

    1. I’m so glad you like it, dear Liz. It’s a nice place to visit when the flow of water is good, such as seen here. Where I live, summer months tend toward the drier side, and so, when it rains, I take advantage to hike soon thereafter. Thank you for your kind words, and I wish you a wonderful Wednesday! 🤗

      1. Thank you. Btw I’ve less than an hour left of my Wednesday – it’s now 11:11pm and I just caught your comment before heading off to bed! Thanks so much, and I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday too!

        1. Ah, yes – well, then sweet dreams, Liz & I thank you 🙂

  11. Delightful, can hear the water…

    1. Yes, indeed – it’s a beautiful sound. So glad you like this waterfall landscape, dear Kathy, and I wish you a wonderful Wednesday! 🤗

      1. And to you as well Phil

        1. Thanks 🌺
