In a dream I’ve dreamed
Time and time again
She appears once more
In this poem for Penn
Oh, Penny dear
My heart is here
Reaching out to welcome you
Arms open wide
Now, side by side
Happiness is ours, beaucoup
Yes, this is a dream
One I wish were real
And, who knows, over time what may be
So I close my eyes
With each star I see
Loving thoughts, in the night, you and me
You’re the dream I find
Satisfies my soul
With your company
My life now feels whole
