Poem

I wrote this poem for a dear friend, Penny Granger, a beautiful woman and talented Poetess who’s creativity often draws my inspiration into words. I encourage guests to visit her site to enjoy reading her wonderful poetry – thank you!

With a candle lit, I wrote throughout the night
True love my guiding light
Straight from the heart with ink

Finding rhyme in time, I penned my poetry
Two souls met destiny
Dear friends for life in sync

Happiness laid down, on the couch next to me
Most lovely and carefree
Wrapped in my arms so tight

Moving forward, now, we live our lives with zeal
Knowing that dreams are real
Songs that she sings, I write
