Winter Creek

A small, frozen creek cascades through a rugged landscape, surrounded by snow and ice formations. The water flows smoothly under and around icy rocks, creating a tranquil winter scene.

I took this photograph while hiking at Spruce Flats Falls, located in the Tremont section of the Smoky Mountains, in Tennessee.

  1. Such a beautiful and natural half frozen creation, my darling, captured, and held for all time. Nature gives us so much, with maybe a reminder that things are transient, that the ice will melt, and the water will flow regardless, carrying our hopes and dreams, within it, held safely…. sending much love from the UK—>US priority mail always, …❤️

    1. Yes, my love, nature gives us so much, there to appreciate, admire and respect, to hold safely within our hearts great joy, sharing time in her beauty as we wish. And, my wish is answered in each visit you grace my site, finding the spot to meet and share company, exchange words as comments. I appreciate you so much, darling Penny, and always look forward to when next we meet. Have a great day, my sweet friend, as I send much love your way, US → UK, +6 hours & priority mail, always ❤️
