High Desert Storm Clouds

Dark, brooding clouds gather ominously above a lush green landscape. The dense foliage below spans a wide view, suggesting a rich wilderness. Distant mountains partially shrouded in mist evoke a sense of mystery and grandeur.

This image was photographed recently while visiting the high desert of Utah. You can find prints available in my gallery at Phil Perkins Photography.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Just shows that nature has its moody side, … captured so brilliantly, my darling man, … and to my mind, the clouds look so low it feels possible to reach up and touch them, … now wouldn’t that be fantastic, amore della mia vita, … sending all my love, to you, from here to there, special delivery always, …❤️

    1. Top of the morning to you, my darling lady and Poetess extraordinaire. Yes, the many moods of nature provide an ever-changing palette of art for us to enjoy, stretching far and wide, that, even during inclement weather, we’re free to reach toward the heavens, imagine touching the clouds overhead, and beyond. You’re the best, il mio dolce amore e anima gemella, and I, too, send all my love to you, from the US—>UK, special delivery, always… ❤️

  2. Sempre, …il mio amore e la mia vita…❤️

  3. Look at those clouds! Dark and brooding is a good description, Phil.

    1. Thanks so much, dear Mary. I think so, too. Have a wonderful weekend! 🤗
