Bald Eagle Perched in Tree

A majestic Bald Eagle is perched on a bare tree branch, showcasing its striking white head and dark body. The tree is mostly devoid of leaves, enhancing the scene’s stark beauty against the cloudy sky.

Photographed while hiking around Mirror Lake, in the Beehive State of Utah, you can purchase a variety of fine prints when visiting my gallery at Phil Perkins Photography.

So, stop by for a visiting, sometime…

  1. So beautifully captured, and I wonder what he’s thinking, Amore della mia vita, … maybe planning his next move for his next meal, with no thought to who is capturing his photo for posterity, … or maybe he’s thinking is this my ‘good side? ‘ … whichever my darling, I’m sending all my love to you from here to there, special delivery always, …❤️

    1. Good afternoon, my darling lady e l’amore della mia vita. He looks as if he’s just finished eating a fish, his feathers wet without rain, and, though he remained long enough to be photographed, he was closely watching my brother and I hiking on the trail below. It’s always wonderful to share your company, and, as is my wish, perhaps we could walk together, side by side, embracing the beauty of nature… in the meantime, I send all my love to you, from me to thee, on the wings of an eagle, special delivery always… ❤️

  2. We love to find bald eagles! It’s like a treasure hunt that you didn’t know you were on! Beautiful photo!

    1. Indeed, it was a real treat to spot this bald eagle along the trail, and that he remained perched while my brother and I hiked beyond the tree.

      1. You were lucky. They usually aren’t that tolerant. Have a great day!

  3. Amazing to see an eagle!

    1. It was, indeed, and I was surprised he sat still for me to take this photograph. Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday, dear Hannah 🙂
