Misty Mountain Landscape

Billowing clouds hang low over a lush forested mountain range. The atmosphere is serene and moody, evoking a sense of calm and solitude. This photograph was taken across the street on the mountain where I live – on the Cumberland Plateau, in Tennessee.

You can find a variety of prints and more in my gallery at Phil Perkins Photography. Select from framed, canvas, wooden, poster, acrylic, art, tapestry and metal prints. Customization options, too.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. So much turmoil in the world, my darling, … Yet one look at this serene scene, (Okay, it’s moody…) but the serenity soon settles you down, calmness reigns, and you can believe once again in peace and harmony, …for how can you not, mio cuore e la mia anima, …seeing the landscape blanketed by natures all encompassing arms, … sending all my love to you, priority mail, as Always, …❤️

    1. Indeed, my darling lady, beauty pervades from this mountain perch, serene and surreal, a blanket of peace warming valleys below, bring to life soulful views shared with zeal. Like the glorious day we met, I’ve been blessed in many ways, and having such expansive landscape scenes so close to home is another example, one I hope to share with you. I reciprocate, mio dolce amore, always… ❤️

    1. Yes, it was a good view for photography, that day – thank you, John!

      1. You are welcome!

  3. Stunning, Phil! 🤗

    1. Thanks so much, dear Lorri. I took this picture just down the street, from a neighbors balcony. Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday, my friend ✨🤗

  4. Stunning, moody capture, Phil! 🤗 Holy moly! Tennessee! I lived in Cookeville for a couple of years, 20 years ago. I’m now in Washington state, close to my youngest, adult child (I have four children, nine grands, seven greats).

    1. Right on! It’s a small world, indeed, and Cookeville is just an hour away, home of one of the states most beautiful waterfalls… Cummins Falls. That entire area, including nearby Sparta, have some amazing places to hike. I strongly suspect that Washington state has, as well, and hope you’re having a great day, dear Lorri ✨🤗

      1. I have been to those waterfalls, and others. I loved hiking there, and trails within Crossville. TN is a beautiful, scenic, state. Have a great evening! 🤗

        1. There are definitely some great waterfalls and trails to be found here, indeed, and I hope to hike as many as I can. Thanks so much, Lorri! ✨🤗
