Tranquil Forest Reflection

A serene forest scene with a calm stream reflecting the surrounding trees. Fallen leaves add color to the rocky banks and the water’s surface. This nearly dry creek was photographed downstream of Ozone Falls, located on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee.

I appreciate your visit – thank you!

  1. Such a beautifully calming, and reflective scene, amore mio, … nature does help enormously to soothe and heal the soul. So many stand and stare moments in life, and this is another, … Il mio amore e anima gemella, …PS❤️

    1. To stand and stare with you, amore mio, ’tis a dream that I hold dear. The two of us, in nature’s arms, comfort, happiness, good cheer… Amore della mia vita… PS❤️

  4. I am fascinated by reflections of nature in ponds and lakes. I often look and ponder on how maybe the world is upside down and the reflection the right way around and maybe I should return to the waters. It’s a weird way my mind plays with images. Which way is right 😄

    1. So glad you enjoyed this moment of reflection, dear Morag, and I, too, find the water most wonderful to examine, contemplate. Most often, as I’m the only one on site, wherein a calming sense of peacefulness accompanies such moments. Wishing you a pleasant day! 🤗

      1. Yes so true. Thank you, you too.
