Yesterday Morning
A branch is encased in sharp icicles, creating a striking, intricate pattern. The blurred background enhances the focus on the frozen details. With rain and light snow the day before, a cloud moved on to the mountain overnight, as temperatures dropped into the low-20’s. Come morning, the cloud remained and almost everything was covered with these spiked icicles. If you’d like a print, please visit my gallery at Phil Perkins Photography.
Yesterday Evening
A stunning sunset with layered clouds creates a mesmerizing array of colors, from deep oranges to soft pinks. The dark silhouette of distant hills contrasts against the colorful sky. I shot this photograph across the street from my house, on the mountain where I live, at an elevation of 2700-feet. If interested in a print, you can visit my gallery at Phil Perkins Photography.
