Poem

Cut-off jeans, bikini top
Her tan lines kissing the sun
Sixty-nine, summer of love
Flowing waves, splashing wet fun

Neath solstice moon she sparkled
Carried light into the night
Stepping out to catch a show
Winding down to feel alright

Daylight grew as silhouette
Rolling dunes drawing us near
Making angels in the sand
Happy hours, bubbling with cheer

Long ago and far away
Now, a memory to hold
Youthful days still warm my heart
Happiness never grows old
