Upper Falls

Okay, alright. Technically, this is the lower section of Upper Falls. Also, there is no Lower Falls. That’s called Second Falls. However, this is not the second section of Upper Falls. That is, unless you wish to play semantics.

Anyway, this photograph was taken in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina, along the Graveyard Fields Trail – a beautiful park adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

If you’d be interested in a print for your home or office, or would like to see other items available featuring my photography, you can visit either of these galleries: Pixels, Redbubble. Thank you!

If, on the other hand, you’re interested in further discussion about a perceived incongruous assignment of names for the aforementioned waterfalls, I would suggest the following:

  • lightly run water in the sink nearest you;
  • place a damp washcloth over your eyes;
  • imagine you’re in a dense forest with a river; and,
  • chill out while you enjoy this Jimi Hendrix tune.

    Haha! Great song, and yes, this will have to do for now, excuse me while I go turn on the sink! 🤣

      Hahaha Thank you for indulging my sense of humor. 🤣 I thought it may have been all for naught but was hoping someone would find it amusing, too. Have a great day, Tiffany 😎
