Rushing Water

Bright morning sunlight breaches the top flow of cascading water, rushing downslope toward the leading edge of Stinging Fork Falls, located on the Cumberland Plateau near Spring City, Tennessee.     What a soothing flow of a gentle stream! 🏞 My gosh, where on earth do you find these special places to photograph Phil? 🤔 I suppose it comes from all of your hiking expeditions throughout the mountains huh? 🌄🌊🏔 I love water elements of just about any kind, so that is why I am always smitten by your images containing water flowing so majestically.       So sweet you are, dear Kym, and I thank you for such kind remarks 🙏🏻😊 This particular spot is somewhat difficult to access, especially given that recent rainfall has made the downhill climb a slow and deliberate endeavor. I had already been to the base of the falls, and wandered downstream quite a distance, thereafter, before returning to ascend the gorge and, as the light hadn’t yet overwhelmed the area, make my way to this advantage point. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, too, my friend! 🤗🌹

    Such a beautiful capture of the rushing flow of the river! It is interesting to note that its eager to reach its destination, yet it’s also relishing its journey.

      Yes, so many topographical iterations and never a dull moment along the way! And, just around the bend from where this photograph was shot, perhaps the ultimate sense of freedom awaits water – to be suspended in midair, albeit momentarily, within a waterfall. Indeed, quite a journey. Thank you, dear Harshi 🤗🌹
