Having read “A Qualquer Altura” (Portuguese, meaning Anytime) by Carla Milho, a gifted writer, truly beautiful woman and dear friend – wherein she speaks of dreams, love and courage – I was inspired to write this poem in response…

She puts the poem in my pen
And so, I’m at it again
Sending song
through my words
to her heart

I hope one day she will find
That we are two of a kind
Hear my call
Share her love
Play a part
