Boulders at Black Mountain

Hiking at Black Mountain – located on the Cumberland Plateau in Crab Orchard, Tennessee – the far side of the main trail brings visitors to a field of mammoth boulders, ranging in size from 15-40 feet tall.

Visible from above, one can see trails below, along with a series of nooks and crannies between the rocks, forming a labyrinth. There’s also a long, narrow stairway used to access the area.
