Savage Falls

Located in the Savage Gulf State Natural Area, within the South Cumberland State Park of Tennessee, the picturesque Savage Falls stands 30-feet tall. Photographed along a 3.6 mile out and back hike, the trail also includes several scenic cascades of note.

You can find prints available in my gallery, if so inclined, so stop over when you have a chance to browse around.

Thanks very much!

  2. Interesting shapes – the branch is cylindrical and the boulders are square.

    1. I agree, there’s so much to see, enjoying this geologic geometry. And, this visit was following a heavy rain, so the falls were flowing fast, as well. Have a great week ahead, dear Vanya 😘

  3. Absolutely beautiful
