Poem for a Friend

Yesterday, I was daydreaming about a beautiful woman from Florida, my dear friend Holly Hunter, when – as seems to happen more often than could be construed as mere coincidence – she visited my site. So, I wrote her this poem.

Bringing sunshine to dark, dreary days
Rays of beauty warming eyes to see
She’s the sweetness mixed with lemonade
Stirring magic in my heart – Holly
