It’s time, I must go
Engage other worlds
Endeavor a show

A retro robot
– what more can I do?
Make circus crowds laugh
Slapstick and soft shoe

    I’ll say G’night, Phil, ..it seems appropriate here with this sweet robot, …Sleep was evading my grasp, so I thought to delve into your previous postings, …thank you, for being you, …your soul shines through your poetry, and your wonderful photography, my friend, …(I tried to post a comment or two when the reader took me to your site, but then again I got the message. ‘ you must be signed in’ )… I’m hoping this will post, … now, what time is it?       G’night, beautiful Penny. I’m so glad you’ve read a few more of my poems, and I hope one day to have them better categorized more broadly for easier access via search. I’ve posted literally hundreds on my site, some very well done but difficult to find. Honestly, I could write many more about you, though I trend romantic…would that be ok with you? I’ve also written many about nature, life and death, etc..

      Anyway 😉 reading your comment is so wonderful for me, as I prepare for slumber, soon. Now that you’re on my mind… when you awaken in the morning with a rose on the bed beside you, know that I put it there in a dream for you to find. Sweet dreams, my dear friend 💫🤗💕💫

        Me and Romance Phil, …we’re hardly on nodding terms, …even before Rob was ill, but you tread the road you chose, …and have you noticed, I don’t think I’ve ever done a romantic poem, sort of drifting dreamy ones, but I think that’s as far as I’ve gone, … I can’t get into my old site, the Penpusherpen, through all sorts of reasons, but the theme I had then,( Piano Black, I think, isn’t available now) gave you a ‘cloud categories’ widget, …You could click on, and lo and behold all the poems with that category were available at a touch, …. I’m still learning what my theme can do, but. to be quite honest, I’m just glad to be back on WordPress, able to do my poetry, and it’s an extra boost to be able to load the audio. Life, …at the moment, it’s a routine, … with escapism on WordPress, and through that I’ve met like-minded people, sharing, and I think on here after a time, you can trust that those people are sincere, … through their continuing posting, and their words, … as I can with you, Phil, and hopefully I share myself, my poems my thoughts, sometimes not the dark ones, anyway I’ve been rambling on for ages, … I shall leave you in peace, and my coffee is getting cold, … the rose was a lovely thoughtful gesture, … my dear dear friend, … right, … I better get on, I haven’t had my breakfast yet, I made sure Rob is comfortable, which is the first tick of the day, ☑️, … I hope your dreams were sweet, … and you’ve had a completely restful night, … anyway, … I’ll sign off this essay, …💫🤗💕💫

          It was a delight to read your response, dear Penny, and please don’t ever feel that ‘rambling’ (if that’s what it was) is a detraction in anyway, as for me, I could read your words, just like I could listen to your lovely voice, all day and night.

          For the record, you have my respect and trust, in addition to my admiration and the fondness I feel for you. And you’re always welcome to carry on in conversation for as long as you’d like – I like your company very much.

          It’s never easy when someone has health issues, whether a parent, child or partner for life, and I understand the toll it can take on a person, both in day to day activities of providing physical care and/or necessities, and on the emotional side of the spectrum.

          I sent you an email the other day, but you don’t have to respond. If you’re busy, I understand. As for categorizing my poems, I have made some progress. For instance, on my page entitled “Search” in the menu, you could type “poems of life” (a tag) and see this list: https://2048.studio/?s=poems+of+life …there you’ll find a few good ones, though, it seems that there’s a bit of an overlap with the tagging I’ve made, where some romantic poems (‘poems of love and romance’) are included. A work in progress, I guess.

          Anyway, I hope that you continue to balance all that life entails, given your present circumstances, and can still find time to share words, poetic or simple conversation, with someone who thinks you’re precious…me. Best wishes for a wonderful day, my dear friend 💫🤗💕💫

            That sounds wonderful Phil, … and thank you for the precious, … and for the Rose, …😉… and you’re precious too my friend, … it’s strange how you can connect online, and I know you hear such horror stories sometimes, … but through well established sites, such as yours and mine (I’m counting my old ones, it’s hard to believe I’m on my almost 4th, but the connected time link is there)… I found the email after searching, so long as I know what I’m looking for I’m okay, … and through humour, poetry and my friendships online, and most importantly through you, my sweet and very dear friend, I feel very blessed, … and yes, precious, …💫🤗💕💫…
