Closed for the Season

This black and white landscape photography includes two old, abandoned chair lifts from a ski resort which was closed decades ago. It’s an eerie location, almost like a ghost town, situated in the forest on a mountain.

    1. I’m so glad you’ve found my photograph interesting, dear Myrelar. It’s an unusual sight to see this equipment abandoned from long ago, as the forest continues to grow all around it.

Thanks for commenting, and I wish you a wonderful week ahead! 🤗

  5. I love this! Can’t stop looking – there’s so much to explore AND wonder about. Who sat in those chairs on their way to ski? How did the chairs fall? When? What do the squirrels & birds & raccoons & foxes think of the structures? Do they sit where eager skiers once did? 👏👏❤️👏👏

    1. Yes, there are many interesting questions that remain unanswered. It’s like a ghost town without any sign of town, simply a forest taking back what was once for trees only. I’m so glad you like it, dear Robin, and appreciate your comments ~ thanks! 🥰
