A weathered ski chair lift hangs suspended, surrounded by a dense forest, evoking a sense of mystery and solitude. The monochrome sepia tones highlight the textures of the metal and the layered trees in the background, including another chair lift on the ground. This ski resort was abandoned many moons ago, and nature is slowly reclaiming her space.

I agree with you, sweet Poetess Kym 🍯💖 It’s a bit eerie walking through the woods, here, where once recreational skiers thrived at a local facility to enjoy winter sports. Now, it’s a seat no more, not like before, with many chair lifts twisted in a tangled mess of new growth (and older, collapsed) trees. Thank you, my friend, and I wish you the same! 🥂✨😘
