Yesterday Morning

Like the poem “Daybreak“, written by my dear friend, Penny Granger, mornings bring beauty, offering endless possibilities full of hope and promise.

As seen here from the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee, fog rolls over the lush, green hills beneath a calm sky dotted with clouds, while trees in the foreground frame the serene landscape, enhancing the sense of tranquility.

I’d like to thank my friends and neighbors, Isaac and Wendy, for the opportunity to share this photograph, taken from across the street on the mountain where I live.

Thanks very much!

  1. So many emotive and very different mornings, my darling, to see the blanket of fog, hugging the mountain tops, reaching down to the valleys, … beautiful/mystical in its own way, … very, very tranquil, and another ‘stand and stare’ moment wishing I was there, …thank you too, for the mention, my dear, sending much love to you from the UK—>US, priority mail always, …❤️

    1. Ah, so sweet the time we share, this view from the mountain, to stand and stare. Fog caressing each curve of the landscape, filling the spaces below… a crescendo, if you will, of tranquil beauty and rugged terrain. And, you’re most welcome, my darling Penny, as your touching poems always bring warmth to my heart and put a smile to my face. Sending much love your way, US—>UK, priority mail always ❤️

    1. Yes, and I’m always amazed at how many different views nature has to share, looking from just this one spot. Thanks, Susan 🙂
