Following my hike to Upper Falls & Second Falls, located along the Graveyard Fields Trail in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina, adjacent to the Blue Ridge Parkway, I spotted this roadside waterfall on my drive home. Acting on impulse, I found a narrow strip on the shoulder of the road to park, and walked back uphill nearly 1/2 mile to capture this scene. Prints available.

So glad you like it, my friend Swati. It was still dark at the time I drove up the mountain, but my vehicle windows were down and so I heard the sound of falling water. I remembered to look again later on my way home, and was glad I did. Thanks & have a great day 😊🌹
